…and trying to get into the swing of things after spending the last five days exploring Positano, Italy. The trip was pretty spectacular from the sunny weather to the beautiful views to the incredibly fresh food (heaven is a dinner of lobster linguine and zucchini flowers overlooking the Mediterranean.) As inspired as Positano was on the culinary and natural wonders front (the entire city is an UNESCO World Heritage site), it didn’t have much of a local style scene despite the many travel articles I’ve read about it that claim so. I did, however, discover a cool little boutique called D’Anna after I befriended the owner’s wife, Simona, on the beach. It turns out it’s the only place on the Amalfi coast where fashion lovers can get their Balenciaga, Prada or Marc Jacobs fix.

Nice vacay choice. I love the Amalfi coast and am glad to know that there is now a good place to shop there. I’ve never seen any interesting clothing in the shops.
