I injured my knee after a particularly strenuous yoga class a few weeks ago. One MRI, two x-rays and several visits with a specialist later, I found out that I have a weird kneecap “tracking” disorder in which they want to twist and pop out of the sockets (it’s as painful as it sounds.) I’m recovering nicely but I won’t be wearing stilettos anytime soon. That said, summer will be all about flats for me. Beatrix Ong, has a great summer collection of shoes that look vintage, yet timelessly cool. They also come in all heights, which is a plus for me. She’s also designing a small capsule collection for Dover Street Market, the London emporium of all things hip, which is a plus for her.
