A white suit at Gucci
So I’m sitting here with my co-worker Michael, who is always reliable for a strong opinion on fashion. We’re looking through the men’s Milan collections for spring 2010 and he is livid. There are white suits all over the place from Dolce & Gabbana to Versace to Gucci. And he asks, “Who wears a white suit? What man can realistically wear one?” The italics shoot out of his mouth with a rapid-fire delivery, punctuating his words until they sound like an Uzi’s bullets. The man is pissed off.
Romina says nonchalantly, “Men wear them all over the South France. They love it. In the summer it’s all about a man in a white suit.” Michael says, “Bah! Nonsense! They’re only for weddings in Essex.” While Emma chimes in, “Weddings in Italy too.” Michael is still not having it. “I just want to know who’s buying these white suits? If I came to the office wearing a white suit, would you not do a double take?” (For the record, Michael prefers his suits in navy or black by Lanvin or Dolce & Gabbana.) So what’s your opinion on the white suit debate? Is it a men’s wear do or don’t?
Oh wait, another co-worker Paul just walked up and says that he would only wear a white suit at a wedding too. But Romina points out that Brad Pitt wore white at Cannes. Actually, that suit was pink, I point out. “Well that’s even worse,” she says. Michael: “But Brad Pitt can pull anything off. If I had the right stylist, I’d be wearing a white, pink or whatever other color suit too.” So there you go.
And another at Dolce & Gabbana

I have to disagree with Michael. I don’t think I could pull one off… but I think they are appropriate in certain settings like Summers in the South of France or Italy (as someone else pointed out). The cut of the suit would have to be impeccable too though.
My question is:
What color shoes do you wear with thte white suit?
THESE SUITS ARE UGLY.DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME SELLING THEM
I like white suit but thats one looking not so good
