As much as I love London, one of my major gripes with the city is that it’s nearly impossible to find crunchy toffee. It only comes soft here. I’ve spent my last year in this town searching for Heath bars (a popular Hershey’s chocolate in America) in vain. So I made a point of bringing back two massive packs of Heath bars from my last trip to the States. Unfortunately, my boyfriend ate them all in the two-week span that I was in Milan and Paris. But one of my Swedish co-workers just brought a bag of Daim candies from Stockholm and the little pieces of heaven have literally rocked my world. They taste like mini Heath bars!!! All of my European office mates are like, “Duh, you can get these everywhere.” I didn’t know. I’ll eat another one now. Thanks.
