 Born in Germany and raised in Virginia, Kenya Hunt is a self-professed Southern girl who grew up eating blackberries from her grandparents' garden, playing dress up in her mom's closet and giving her little sister makeovers. She went on to study English Literature at the University of Virginia before moving to New York where she spent two years as an aspiring dancer. I wore a pair of these pants to a sock hop in 1968! They were definitely my favorites- I am sure they were heavy wool. I would guarantee that my Dad brought them back from London!
I was at that sock hop in 1968. Kenny really looked great as he danced around the hardwood beneath the basketball hoops. The St. Mary’s girls commented on the uniqueness of the trousers. They indeed were handsome, as was Kenny.
